Beer Festival Appearance CANCELLED

Apologies for the late posting of this news. We've been moved out of our planned slot at 3 p.m. by the Klezmer Collective. To be fair to Simon at the beer festival, he has tried to offer us another slot, but it will probably be several hours later and the exact timing uncertain. Due the difficulty contacting all the Uke Knights planning to attend, I thought it would be best to cancel on this occasion. I think the lesson to learn is the need for a Uke Nights mailing list, which I'll organize henceforth.
Hopefully see people at the Butchers Arms Friday night anyway.

Canton 'Solo Spot'

The next Canton uke gathering on 26 October will see the return of our occasional 'Solo Spot' in addition to our usual proceedings. This is an opportunity for uke players to have a go at performing one or two solo numbers to a (hopefully!) sympathetic audience.

If anyone would like to have a go, please let me know, either in advance or early on the night.
